Cladding Systems

Cladding Systems

Metal roofing systems are widley used in the commerical roofing sector due to speed of installation and thermal performance. The systems we supply are all CE certified and can achieve up to a 40 year warranty on external coatings.

Metal sheeting typically has a 1 metre cover width (when installed) and is available in a range of colours and finishes.

Used in Roof and Wall applications

The most cost-efficient way to insulate and weather almost any project, trapezoidal composite panels are the go-to choice for industrial, warehousing and refurbishment sectors.

Made in varying core depths, from 40mm to 150mm, with U-values as low as 0.12 W/m2k.

Fire performance in most scenarios is catered for, with many achieving over the minimum requirement of 60 minutes integrity.

Both external and internal coatings can be specified to suit building criteria, with options for standard use, food and marine environments, with air leakage as low as 3m3/hr/m2 at 50Pa.

Used in Wall applications

Architectural panels are used to create contrasting visuals primarily at "front of house" locations. They offer designers an alternative to rainscreen whilst maintaining speed of construction and flexibility.

Various external profiles are available - typically Micro Rib or "flat" faced panels are used in the UK.

Delivering natural light into any building is crucial for wellbeing and energy efficiency. We strongly recommend an absolute minimum of 8% total roof area is used for daylight, with a recommendation of 16% where possible.

Thermal performance and fragility of rooflights have long been the trade-off for daylight, however advances in manufacturing have made it possible to achieve as low as 1.3w/m2k in some instances.

Daylight systems are typically installed in the roof, however vertical wall options are available.

In-plane Factory Assembled Roof Light Systems (FAIRS) are available in both GRP and multi-wall polycarbonate to suit all trapezoidal composite panels, along with single skin GRP for 0.7 metal cladding.

Twin-Skin offers a flexible solution for industrial and refurbishment projects, where specific thermal or acoustic properties are required.

Utilising a white liner sheet, spacer bar system, VCL, insulation roll and external weather sheet to create a full weatherproof component

Typically used in refurbishment scenarios by overcladding the existing roof sheet - this offers minimal business interruption by fixings the spacer bar system directly to existing roofing.

Twin-Skin can also be used on barrel vaulted projects and curved eaves
